The show is based on a true story about Cline's friendship with a fan that befriended the star and continued a unique pen-pal relationship with Cline until her untimely death at the age of 30. The musical, complete with down home country humor, true emotion and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy's unforgettable hits.

GUYS ON ICE, THE ICE FISHING MUSICAL

The Actors Theater of Minnesota’s GUYS ON ICE, THE ICE FISHING MUSICAL. Cheesehead buddies Marvin and Lloyd spend a winter’s day in a shanty out on the ice, talking and singing about love, life, the Packers, and Leinenkugel. Guys On Ice comes from the same producers of Theatre L’Homme Dieu’s 2009 hit, Deer Camp: The Musical

LEAVING IOWA

July 13-18

Originally produced in Minnesota at The Old Log Theatre, LEAVING IOWA is a warm and nostalgic comedy about a baby boomer searching for the perfect spot to scatter his father's ashes, reliving boyhood summer vacations he spent trapped in the family station wagon headed to uninteresting historical sites with their mother and determined, well-meaning father. Nominated for Best New Play by the American Theatre Critics Association, Leaving Iowa is guaranteed to keep you laughing and remembering the childhood vacations you tried to forget.

BIG RIVER: THE ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN

July 27- August 1

The Minneapolis Musical Theatre’s BIG RIVER is a rousing, high-spirited show that sets your hands to clapping, your feet to stomping and your heart to rise within you! Join Huck Finn and the runaway slave, Jim, on a musical trip down the Mississippi River in Mark Twain's classic tale. Their adventures are hilarious, suspenseful and heartwarming. This musical is propelled by Roger Miller's award winning score and brings to life all your favorite characters, including a rascally pair of river drifters, a grieving heiress and, of course, Tom Sawyer.

DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN

August 3-8

Written by comedian Rob Becker, Defending the Caveman is the longest running one-person show in Broadway history and has played in forty-five countries and has been translated into thirty different languages. Defending the Caveman reveals why men are so misunderstood, and why, beneath the grunting, inexpressive exteriors, there beats a heart of gold. It is a hilarious insightful play about the ways men and women fight, laugh and love. Both sexes will laugh at each other and squirm in their seats as the stories and events ring all too close to home.
