God of Carnage, featuring the Guthrie Theater's 2011 cast and director, is a Tony Award-winning comedy of grown ups behaving badly. The play begins as two highly-strung couples meet for a civil discussion about a playground fight between their sons. At first, niceties are observed but as the evening progresses the parents become increasingly childish - the gloves come off, and the situation quickly morphs into laugh-out-loud, comedic train wreck (replete with adult language).
