Marketing and Audience Services Manager

To realize attendance goals, oversee external communications, and optimize stakeholder experience.

Reports to Executive Director

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Owning Effective Media and Social Media strategies and campaigns to develop and maintain positive impressions of TLHD’s mission, programming, and organizational aspirations
  • Creating and implementing marketing strategies to realize attendance and income goals
  • Coordinating staff and volunteers to assure a welcoming and inviting experience for all stakeholders

More specifically

  • Develop and maintain extensive and up-to-date media contact list for Central Minnesota
  • Write season press release and press releases for each programmatic offering
  • Obtain visual imagery for each programmatic offering
  • Create and execute media calendar, cementing maximum coverage in the most timely manner
  • Pitch stories and seek coverage for each programmatic offering
  • Create a social media character and narrative for TLHD with uniform voice and language
  • Post daily on social media platforms in organized and strategic way 
  • Take over season pass campaigns to maximize subscriber base
  • Communicate 1-2 times weekly with subscribers in personalized manner to deepen relationship
  • Recruit, assign, train, and oversee volunteer usher brigade to assure safety and smooth operations of front of house
  • Manage concessions inventory, staff, income, accounting, and taxes
  • Plan stakeholder special events – groups, opening night parties, sponsor/donor recognition, neighbor appreciation, alumni, etc.
  • Collaborate with ED to convert subscribers to donors and donors to subscribe
  • Maintain website
