Q & A: A resource for questions that arise.

Just like any business undergoing a period of planning and change, it's natural for questions to arise. This is our attempt to answer questions that have come to our attention. It will be revised periodically.

Q: Are you selling the property and turning it in to townhomes?

A: No.

Q: Is TLHD open to receiving donations?

A. Absolutely! TLHD welcomes donations and offers multiple opportunities throughout the year for supporters to contribute:

1. General Operating Fund: We accept donations to support our day-to-day operations and the exceptional programming you've come to expect in an environment that enhances your experiences.

2. Three Annual Fundraising Appeals: We organize three fundraising appeals annually, including the Pre-Season (Spring), Post-Season (Fall), and Year-End Giving (December) campaigns.

3. Summer Soirée: Our first annual Summer Soirée was held at the TLHD campus on August 23, 2018. Since then this annual event has become known as a must-do social and philanthropical event of the summer!

Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Q: Do you hope your buildings fall down?

A: No.

Q: How do you prepare for winter?

A: We have checklists of tasks for all of our property and buildings to prepare them for the hibernation months. Then, a group of staff, volunteers, and neighbors keep a watchful eye on things.

Q: What will happen to the Lodge?

A: Currently, our primary focus is on Phase 1 of our plan, centered around programming. Once this phase is completed, we will move on to Phase 2, which involves facilities planning to support our programming goals. During that time, we will assess and evaluate all our facilities to ensure they align with our vision, mission and objectives. Consequently, we cannot provide a definitive answer right now. Nevertheless, we consider ourselves fortunate to be in a strong position, allowing us to plan for the future with careful consideration, prioritizing the well-being of both our people and programming that will allow a healthy, sustainable arts organization.
